C2C FESTIVAL

This weekend i went to the C2C (Country to Country) music festival in London at the O2 arena.
This has to be one of the best performances / concerts i've ever been too.
For a start for the ticket price you get to see 4 main acts in the arena with other acts on the smaller stage in the arena. In addition to that there are loads of other free events around the O2 to check out and enjoy, well worth the admission price.



I've never been to C2C before, but it was the best music event i've ever been too, I'm a secret, or not so secret lover of american country music. Not the thigh slapping, cheesy over the top stuff, but the proper Nashville and Memphis based outstanding music scene that tells huge stories in a few minute songs. The artists that come out of these places are incredible, and many don't get the international recognition they deserve.
That's what impressed me the most at this event, the headliners were amazing but the quality of talent and passion everyone performing had. Even the acts performing on the free to view smaller stages outside the arena were such good quality. The amount and quality of music I saw was well over the ticket price, and I would happily go and watch every act again.
It's a day, that as a creative, had me inspired.
The only downside was that didn't have tickets to all 3 days and was only there for 1 day.


I attended on the Saturday and the 4 headline acts were, Maddie & Tae, Sam Hunt, Little Big Town and Carrie Underwood. I mainly booked as i've always wanted to see Carrie Underwood live but all of these acts were incredible.
Carrie was amazing and performed a long set, but the standout performers for me were Little Big Town. They are all incredible singers and their passion for music came across so much in their set.
I hadn't heard of Maddie & Tae before this event and I was also hugely impressed with these two, love their music, you 2 have a new fan!
